The accelerated program offers non-working students the opportunity to finish their BSN in as little as 16 months.

The demand for clinically-competent, professional, registered nurses in the United States has never been higher. Many people are searching for the rewards that registered nursing can bring them, but we all know that earning the necessary credentials is time-consuming. Through an innovative collaboration between Marian University and St.Vincent Health in Indiana, two new programs allow students to become registered nurses through a unique combination of online study and on-site clinical experiences.

Our accelerated online program offers accelerated nursing education that allows you to earn a BSN in just 16 months. This program blends the personal convenience of online course study with enriching clinical learning at St.Vincent Health facilities throughout Indiana.   You will join a community of students and will be guided by faculty online and on-site in a flexible but deadline-driven setting that sufficiently prepares you for a career in nursing.

Choosing to be a nurse is a life changing experience. You help solve a problem, help people in need and help yourself. Nurses handle complex critical thinking, deliver the majority of patient care and perform life-saving efforts. As more and more baby boomers reach retirement age the need for nurses only increases.

This program is an engaging interactive experience.  It is not an independent or self-study study program. Similar to a traditional class, you will work and interact with a group of other students guided by a faculty member.  You will have assignments, tests and projects in online and in-class environments, as well as hands-on learning in an on-campus simulation/skills lab and through clinical rotations at St.Vincent Health facilities throughout Indiana. You will have personalized attention by staff and faculty every step of the way, with advisement and virtual faculty office hours.
